Recommended Designers and Consultants

Much of my work comes through personal recommendations of clients, friends, and fellow designers. And periodically I’m asked to suggest the right person for a service I don’t offer. I thought I’d put together a page of recommended designers and other consultants whom I’ve worked with and gotten to know.

Graphic Designers

One service I don’t offer is design. I can whip up some basic images and icons, but I don’t have the eyes of a true graphic designer.

The Blog Fairy

The Blog Fairy offers everything from 125×125 graphics to full header/blog makeovers. She serves people on both Blogger and Wordpress platforms and I highly-recommend her if you’re looking for a unique Blogger theme.

Emily’s a great person to work with, very talented and responsive. I’ve had her do some design work for a side project and she got me exactly what I wanted and quickly. She was recommended by several of my clients for her great work on their sites.

Logos for Websites

Logos for Websites offers just that: banners, logos, and 125×125s for your websites. Pete is quick, easy to work with, and has produced some lovely results. He designed the 125 x 125 graphic which I used for my previous consulting site and on which I’ve modeled the current 125 x 125. Check out the gallery for some examples of his work.

Pete has particular experience in creating properly-sized logos and background images for sites using Thesis.

Empty Cabin Media

Larry of Empty Cabin Media is an expert on editing the Thesis theme for Wordpress. I offer Thesis customization as well, but if you want to push the absolute limits of what Thesis can do, Larry may be able to help you better. You can view samples of his work on his testimonials page.
